TOMCAT Tamper-Resistant Bait Stations hold bait or a trap in order to keep it away from children, pets and other animals. Bait stations alone do NOT capture or hold rodents. Stations automatically lock when closed and unlock with TOMCAT’s "easy access" key.
Mice are curious creatures and will readily explore bait stations. They feel comfortable inside a station where interior baffles lead them to the bait or trap inside. Rats, however, are more wary of new objects in their environment and may take longer to investigate a bait station. But once inside, they will gnaw the bait or be captured by the trap placed in the station.
Bait stations also keep bait fresh longer by protecting it from dust, dirt, moisture and other contaminants. They are durable, made of heavy-duty plastic to withstand the toughest conditions indoors and outdoors.
TOMCAT Tamper-Resistant Bait Stations come in three sizes:
- small, triangular bait station for mice (also available "pre-baited" so it's immediately ready to use)
- a mid-sized rodent bait station (for rats or mice) with a convenient side-opening lid
- a large rat bait station that accommodates both rats and mice
